Before highlight reels and draft night suits, basketball greatness was born under campus lights. In the 1950s, during Bob Cousy’s prime, NBA hopefuls had no choice but to prove themselves in college gyms. League rules required it, and there were no one-and-done exceptions (or NIL deals).

Years after he was a three-time All-American at the College of the Holy Cross, Bob Cousy signed a historic partnership with P.F. Flyers, becoming the first athlete to endorse a sneaker.

Today, the connection between college hoops and the pros still runs deep. Our Collegiate Play Collection celebrates that bond, blending retro basketball style with modern comfort and design.
