All our sneakers are listed in standard US sizing. To convert from men’s to women’s sizes, add 1.5 sizes to the men’s size (for example, a men’s 7 is equivalent to a women’s 8.5).
Customers often prefer sizing up for a more comfortable fit in our Center and All-American franchises. Try a ½ size above your normal sneaker size.
Originally crafted for the U.S. military, The Grounder is where mid-century design meets practical detail. Elevated for the outdoors, this resilient version created in collaboration with BEAMS+ brings our classic high-top into new terrain.
Minimal all-black mixes with military heritage in this sleek sneaker boot. Proprietary BEAMS+ fabric reinterprets vintage inspiration while keeping feet comfortable. The black colorway pays tribute to tactical uniforms, allowing subtle texture to shine. Matching laces, reinforced stitching, and a durable toe wrap ensure a safe and secure fit.
Built for exploration, a rubber mudguard and gusseted tongue create a barrier against the elements, while a new, deep-lugged outsole provides exceptional traction and control. Ergonomically molded Posture Foundation support, resilient rubber soles, and the rugged legacy of The Grounder make it a reliable choice across various terrains.
I’m not intending to be a raving jerk, rather, I’ve spent a significant amount of money on your products bc I was under the impression you were 100% American in every way. Just take a look at your ‘about us’. If certain folks are okay paying 175 for a product clearly not all American, and even more so to pay tariffs, ugh, PF you lost your way. Can I return all these?
To justify buying, knowing tariffs inflate the price, further solidifies you aren’t paying more for quality, you’re paying to support a foreign country manufacturing partnership. You do you and enjoy. This type of support propagates these problems. The fact that PF has taken that route is sad.
Comfortable footbed, true to size, well made and heavy duty compared to normal grounders. They are a cross between a military tactical shoe and duck boots. Will be able to withstand the cold NYC streets this coming winter. Got navy and black. Very happy with my purchase.
I noticed other reviewers mentioning price point. You can’t ignore the fact that tariffs are still being applied to imported goods made out of country. It’s part of the inflation problem that everyone is complaining about.
First, unless one selects 5 stars a review, this cannot be posted.
Asking $175 for a pair of PFs, justified by a Japanese company partnership, I’ve never heard of, is absurd. I bet their quality is stellar, particularly given they charge $80 for a tshirt, but that isn’t (or shouldn’t be) your model. Whomever in Marketing facilitated this deal may want to revisit their resume. I’m a legend customer, I have 12 pairs of PFs & I’ve spent over a grand in a year. Don’t lose sight of what made you popular and made people feel good about buying your product. Beams is well, completely off course of that.
FYI Nike is releasing a limited edition, Levi’s partnership sneaker this year for less than $175. If nothing I’ve mentioned makes sense considering that.
